🎊Hen Party Decoration Tips🎊
So one of the most common questions I get asked by my hen party guests is “do you have any decoration tips?”
So Norfolk House is huge and beautifully decorated, so most the rooms don’t need anything. However most brides to be, bridesmaids and maid of honours will want to add their own touches so here are my suggestions.
Always check what we have here already sometimes the group before you might of left something here. If you message to week of your stay we will let you know.
The decor at Norfolk House is tasteful so don’t order anything to brash or trashy as can kind of look a bit cheap.
We recommend that the main bridal party arrive at least an hour before the rest of the hens to check in and add any decorations.
The White Room (or party room) is the area where our guests tend to decorate. Ballon arches & garlands are the most poplar options.
In the formal dining room we have the pampas grass decorations in the fireplace, centrepieces on the table and the cloud below the chandelier in the dining room our permanent feature. You really don’t need to add anything more to this room.
The hot tub then has the flower wall and hanging paper honeycombs installed permanently.
Most guests reserve the Gold bedroom for the bride or birthday girl. Quite often people will add bunting or balloons to decorate the bed or mirror.
We don’t allow people to stick Sellotape on our walls for obvious reasons. However we have added lots of specially designed hooks between windows and over the fireplaces so that you can add your decorations without damaging our paintwork.
Pick a theme or a colour way and try and stick to it that way everything looks fabulous on the photos.
If you want to order something special we recommend a couple of local companies who could come in the morning before your arrival and at a balloon arch Or something similar. @the_lace_balloon @cinderellas.events
We have plenty of the decorative weights to hold down helium balloons.
We are sorry, we do not allow naked flames including candles or indoor fireworks.

Please remember to take your helium cans away with you as we don’t have any way of disposing of them.
